Question On External Hard Drives
Most of the user feedback says that the enclosures without fans get hot and some even say that the fans break down pretty fast. It has 4 500 GB hard drives set to RAID 0, and two hard drive controller cards so the hard drives are set in pairs as 1 master and 1 slave. Why does it matter what size the HDD is if the enclosure is just a means to house the drive?Is there software included with the external enclosures? If google's reputation for seeing people's data scares you then encrypt before backing up to google, if not don't bother encrypting. the other thing besides buying a new computer ( depending on your computer) you can buy more RAM.... none last for ever, this is why backups are needed.
