So i am about to change HDD to check if there is problem with hard drive. This is either a software problem or the beginnings of a harddrive fail.One of the warning signs or an imminent fail is slow operation and odd noises from the drive. I can only use "Full format" option to format drive, because if I use "Quick" nothing happens, like about 30 minutes the setup still will show only 0%. I've now started plugging the external HDD directly into the machine not using the hub, and that seems to take care of the problem.
