But dominant slots really shouldn't become an issue if you're running Dual, Tri, Quad Channel RAM setups. Check with www.kingston or www.crucial and see what they offer for your system, if the other ram you queried isn't there, then don't buy it. I could have miss matched but didn't want to have another problem, if the wasting away continued. But that time for that boy, that child, are gone now.

Unless you are shown the low memory warning which is extremely unlikely, or your system lags due to excessive pagefile use, know that you can rest assured. May I ask which card you are having a heat problem with? I just inserted a pair of duel RAM in slot 1 and 2 and wondering if that creates less stability or less speed in memory allocating. This is well documented at MS support website and/or knowledge base, check there or google.
