How is that even possible if there are only 4 slots and the maximum memory size is 16GB? Basically: if the motherboard supports ECC you can add pretty much whatever you want but if it's different from the preincluded 4GB, remove it. The scan said that this would fit my needs. The RAM I had put in is DDR2 667. My question to all the experts out there is: will 2 of these work with my laptop and get me the 8gb of ram I need? I just want to know if I pick one or the other how much will it affect me. It's also an older gen.
