If after the reboot the toolbar is still there, your problem is fixed. Mine is permanent but I don't remember how I did it. Tried everything suggested, still Quick Launch doesn't appear after rebooting. Please be thoughtful, detailed and courteous, and be sure to adhere to our posting rules. Restart the computer a second time!!! Granted the regular selectable options dont change back, just any user created toolbars dissapear.
