(which I can see if it indeed I EVEN USE NORTON 360 REMOVAL TOOL DIDNT WORK , HAD TOP TECH SUPPORT FROM ROAD RUNNER NOTHING READING THE FORUMS AND THE WINSOCK XP FIX FREE REMOVAL TOOL WORKED!!!!!!!!! check task managers's 'Network' tab to see if there are any packets passing through the adapter(see the green lines) c.

Go to the modem manufacturer site and type in the model or serial number and make sure you select the driver for you operating system.
